Battery suppliers upscale manufacturing operations to meet global demand
As alternative propulsion technologies gain greater acceptance, the demand for batteries is expected to increase. At a simplistic level, the battery may be considered as an energy storage medium for an electric vehicle (EV) in the same way as a gasoline or diesel fuel tank is in a traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle.
