Shanghai Auto Show 2017: Harman unveils scalable digital cockpit platform
Company wins new contract worth USD600 million with Chinese OEMs
At this year’s Shanghai Auto Show in China Harman has launched a new platform that integrates the operations and functionality of the instrument cluster and infotainment system to offer seamless user experience, the US-based supplier said in a press release on 18 April. The company’s new scalable platform, called Digital Cockpit, addresses growing complexity resulting from increasing digitization of display, safety and entertainment functions inside a car.
