Harman to operate as wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung

Samsung Electronics has completed the acquisition of US-based infotainment and connected car services supplier Harman, after satisfying all closing conditions including approvals from Harman’s shareholders, the company said in a press release on 11 March. Under the terms of the agreement, as announced in November 2016, Harman’s shareholders will receive USD112 per share in cash.
