Harman’s shareholders approve merger with Samsung Electronics

Harman’s shareholders approved the company’s proposed acquisition by Samsung Electronics in a special shareholders meeting held on Friday (17 February), reports The Korea Herald. According to a regulatory filing by Harman with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), 78% of shareholders, representing 49,460,322 out of a total of 69,883,605 shares, participated in the voting either directly or through proxies.
