Harman implements Apple CarPlay integration through wireless connectivity
Company deploys wireless CarPlay feature in a model by premium German automaker
Harman has achieved first-ever implementation of Apple CarPlay integration using a wireless connection, the US-based supplier said in a press release on 23 February. The company’s infotainment system initially uses vehicle’s Bluetooth and then its Wi-Fi for connectivity required to support CarPlay.
