The newly developed facility is divided into two halves

The BMW Group has officially commenced operations at its new Aeroacoustics and Electric Drive Center (AEC) located at its Munich-based Research and Innovation Center (FIZ), effectively replacing its nearly 40-year-old aeroacoustic wind tunnel, the carmaker announced Dec. 11.
