BMW Group advances toward circular economy with new battery recycling center
Investing €10 million, BMW builds a center in Bavaria for pioneering battery cell recycling, enhancing sustainability and efficiency
In a press release dated Nov. 27, BMW Group announced that it is advancing its commitment to the circular economy by constructing a Cell Recycling Competence Centre (CRCC) in Kirchroth, Lower Bavaria, focused on pioneering "direct recycling" of battery cells.
