Stellantis was looking to set up a gigafactory in Spain under a potential partnership with battery-maker CATL

The Spanish government has granted Stellantis €133 million in new subsidies for its potential battery manufacturing plant expected to come up near the northeastern city of Zaragoza, Spain, according to a news report published by Reuters on Oct. 8.
