Chilean lithium to become US IRA-compliant after two countries sign deal
The move will help Chile boost its global appeal and attract new investments aimed at lithium mining operations
Chile has struck a strategic deal with the US to allow the lithium mined in Chile and the components made of such lithium qualify for the tax credits under the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), according to a news report published by Bloomberg on July 10.
