The UK government releases draft regulations for public charging point operators
If the charging service providers fail to comply with the newly proposed requirements, they could be fined up to £10,000
The UK government has proposed new regulations that will require charging point operators (CPOs) to maintain a 99% reliability rate of their electric vehicle charging networks spread across the country, along with offering a real-time update on their availability, according to a news report published by Electrive on July 13.
