Luminar wins contract to supply lidar solutions to Mercedes-Benz
The company successfully completed the initial phase of trials of its lidar solutions with Mercedes-Benz vehicles
Luminar has reached what it claims a “multibillion dollar” agreement with Mercedes-Benz to supply its Iris lidar sensors for the German carmaker’s next generation vehicles by mid-decade, the US-based lidar specialist said in a press release on 22 February.
