Sumitomo Chem to set up new recycled automotive plastics business in fiscal 2023

The company is setting up a processing facility that will help produce recycled polypropylene compounds for automotive applications.

Sumitomo Chemical announced via press release on 21 September that it will be setting up a new pilot-scale mechanical waste processing facility as part of its strategic plans to develop a new recycled automotive plastics business in the near future.
