Benteler starts plant expansion project at Schwandorf, Germany
The company plans to produce battery trays for electric vehicles at the site
Supplier of chassis, engine, and exhaust components Benteler plans to expand its Schwandorf-based production facility in Germany, the company announced on the sidelines of a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony on 2 June 2022. It said that as part of capacity expansion, an area of around 11,500 square meters is being added to the existing plant, which is part of the Benteler automotive division.
