Geely, Farasis Energy to build second battery plant in China
The planned battery plant, which is slated to have a production capacity of 12 GWh, is expected to go into trial production by end 2023
Geely, one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in China, and its battery supplier Farasis Energy have begun constructing their second EV battery plant project, which is located in the Fuling district, Chongqing, southwest China, a report filed by CNEVPOST said on 19 May 2022, citing a company announcement.
