VW Group, which has acquired 25% stake in 24M, plans to set up a subsidiary that will produce 24M-patented SemiSolid battery cells for EVs

Massachusetts-based EV battery cell developer 24M Technologies, Inc. has closed its deal with the Volkswagen Group wherein the German carmaker has acquired 25% stake in 24M and plans to establish a wholly owned subsidiary that will, in cooperation with the former, develop and produce the patented SemiSolid battery cells for EVs, the company said on 18 January 2022.
