TSMC will start semiconductor production in Japan
The chip plant's construction is set to begin in 2022
According to a Reuters press release dated 9 November, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) will begin producing chips in Japan by 2024 in a joint venture with Sony after the two companies signed a USD7-billion plant deal.
