Volkswagen to set up new MEB electric car manufacturing plant in mainland China
Company to complete construction by mid-2022, targets start of BEV production in the second half of 2023
Volkswagen Group China has begun construction of its all-new MEB plant (Modularer E-Antriebs-Baukasten; modular electric-drive toolkit) at Volkswagen Anhui in mainland China, according to a company press release.
