Toray to establish new plant in India to produce polyamide, PBT resin compounds
The Japanese supplier has presence in India since 2011
Toray has announced plans to establish a new production facility in India to manufacture polyamide and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin compounds for automotive applications, the Japan-based company said in a press release last month. The Japanese supplier has already acquired a commercial plot of around 350,000 square meters in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh for the new production base, to be operated by its Indian subsidiary, Toray Industries (India) Private Limited.
