Harman CEO sees continued strong gains from infotainment segment
Company aims to double revenue from infotainment business in next five to seven years
Harman expects strong demand for its infotainment products by the automotive industry in the next five to seven years, the company’s CEO Dinesh Paliwal told Automotive News in an interview. "We think we are at the point where this linear growth of 4 to 5% is going to become non-linear. All the analyst groups, IHS, etc., are saying that in three to five years, onboard penetration of infotainment will be 60 to 65% globally, from 25 to 27% currently,” Paliwal said in the interview.
