Serve Robotics announces expanded Los Angeles delivery, extended Lidar supply agreement
The partnership with Ouster will equip 2,000 robots with REV7 sensors for enhanced navigation and safety in Los Angeles
Serve Robotics Inc., an autonomous delivery robotics company, recently announced the expansion of its delivery services to Koreatown in Los Angeles, marking an important step in its plan to extend geographic reach in the city and across the United States. This move comes alongside an announcement that the company has expanded its lidar supply agreement with Ouster, Inc., which involves equipping 2,000 robots with upgraded lidar sensors to enhance performance. This expansion into Koreatown began with the onboarding of local merchants in partnership with Uber Eats, allowing residents to receive deliveries via Serve's robots. The selection of Koreatown was based on its dense commercial activities, growing residential community, and appropriate sidewalk infrastructure to support robotic delivery operations. This expansion aligns with Serve's collaboration with the Los Angeles city government and local stakeholders.
