Vanguard International Semiconductor and NXP to build new semiconductor facility in Singapore
The facility will support mixed-signal, power management and analog products within the 130-nm to 40-nm range for a variety of end markets
As reported in a press release on June 5, Vanguard International Semiconductor Corp. (VIS) and NXP Semiconductors NV (NXP) have announced their plan to establish a joint venture, VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Pte. Ltd. (VSMC), for constructing a new 300-millimeter (mm) semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility in Singapore.
