Canada-based supplier of anode active materials (AAM) for batteries, Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. (NMG) and General Motors Holdings LLC (GM), a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors Co., have agreed to sign a supply agreement where NMG will supply the US automaker with 18,000 metric tons of AAM output per annum, NMG announced Feb. 15.
