The US government has announced the $51 million Joint Office of Energy and Transportation's (Joint Office's) Ride and Drive Electric funding opportunity to further accelerate the transition to battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) while catalyzing the private sector investments in clean transportation, according to a note published by the Joint Office on May 18.
