The transportation sector is the second-largest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in New York

Governor of the New York state Kathy Hochul announced a grant of over $8.3 million to 70 municipalities to install about 250 new public electric vehicle (EV)-charging stations, according to a press release issued by the office of the governor on April 13.
