Around USD10 billion will go to mature and current-generation chips used in vehicles and medical devices

The US Department of Commerce has announced its plans to roll out around USD50 billion in funding for domestic semiconductor chip manufacturing, according to a report published by The Detroit News on 6 September 2022.
