US Senate clears to move ahead with USD52 billion semiconductor bill
Legislation intends to foster chip manufacturing in the US
The US Senate voted by a wide margin to begin debate on legislation to provide more than USD52 billion in grants and incentives for the American semiconductor industry, news agency Bloomberg reported on 20 July 2022.
