Refined nickel produced at the site will be used to manufacture batteries for Ford’s future EVs

Brazilian mining company Vale announced via press release on 21 July that it had signed a non-binding MoU with Chinese battery materials company Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt and Detroit automaker Ford to process nickel ore mined by Vale in Indonesia.
