US Senate approves USD52 billion chip bill to bolster semiconductor manufacturing
The new bill once enforced would incentivize domestic semiconductor manufacturers to invest in chip production
In June, the Senate passed semiconductor legislation that included USD190 billion in funding to boost American domestic technology and research in order to compete with China, while the House passed its version in early February.
