General Motors shuts down Factory Zero for four weeks to expand capacity
To accommodate the planned capacity expansion, GM’s Factory Zero will not operate during the weeks of 27 June, 4 July, 11 July, and 18 July
General Motors will shut down its Factory Zero in Detroit for four weeks, starting 27 June, as it plans to expand the capacity to produce more battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), a report published by news publication The Detroit Bureau on 23 June 2022 said.
