Constellium partners with CNRS and UGA to develop next-gen aluminium alloys
The new lab will research the recyclability of aluminum as well as the use of AI to design new alloys.
French manufacturer of aluminum products Constellium announced via press release on 6 May that it will be developing a new “Advanced Aluminum Alloys Partnership” (3ALP) applied sciences laboratory with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA) to develop next-generation aluminum alloys that are stronger, more economical, and have a lower impact on the environment.
