Solvay to develop next-gen solid-state battery electrolytes using EU funding
Full operation is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2022
Belgian chemical company Solvay announced via press release on 19 October that it had started developing the next generation of solid-state electrolytes for electric vehicle batteries using funding provided by the EU Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) program.
