BorgWarner to invest USD116 million in a new EV components plant in Portugal
BorgWarner plans to manufacture electric motors, inverters, battery management systems for automakers in Europe
Michigan-based global supplier of powertrain technologies BorgWarner broke ground for a new plant in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, where it plans to manufacture EV powertrain parts such as electric motors, inverters and battery management systems (BMS) for a wide range of global automakers in Europe, the company announced on 12 October.
