Nidec FY2015/16 net profit up 20.8% y/y to USD 816.2 million
Net sales up 14.6% y/y
Nidec has reported 20.8% year-over-year (y/y) increase in net profit to JPY91.8 billion (USD816.2 million) in the financial year ended 31 March 2016, the company said in a press release on 26 April. Operating profit increased 12.3% y/y to JPY124.5 billion. Nidec recorded strong growth in net profit and operating profit thanks to 14.6% y/y jump in net sales to JPY1.18 trillion.
