Quanergy to supply lidar sensor for Chery autonomous vehicles in China
Chinese automaker aiming for Level 3 autonomy by 2020 and Level 5 by 2026
Quanergy Systems has entered a strategic partnership with Chinese automaker Chery Automobile, the US-based lidar supplier said in a press release on 18 July. Under the partnership, Quanergy will be the lidar partner for Chery Lion’s Smart Partner Program which is focusing on developing autonomous driving vehicles.
