Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, Microsoft launch ‘Alliance Intelligent Cloud’ connected vehicle platform
The first vehicles to come equipped with the ‘Alliance Intelligent Cloud’ will be the all-new Renault Clio and select Nissan LEAF models, sold in Japan and Europe
Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi has launched ‘Alliance Intelligent Cloud’, a new platform that will enable Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors to deliver connected services in their vehicles, the automotive alliance said in a press release today (20 March). The platform, jointly developed by Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and Microsoft, will be deployed utilizing cloud, artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IOT) technologies, provided by Microsoft Azure. The first vehicles to come equipped with Alliance Intelligent Cloud will be the all-new Renault Clio and select Nissan Leaf models, sold in Japan and Europe.
