Daimler, Bosch select California’s San Jose as pilot city for autonomous ride-hailing service
German companies will commence trial of highly and fully automated driving (SAE level 4/5) during the second half of 2019
Daimler and Bosch have selected San Jose in California, United States, as the first pilot city for its on-demand ride-hailing service, the two companies said in a joint press release on 8 November. The two Germany-based companies will commence a trial of highly and fully automated driving (SAE level 4/5) ride-hailing service in the third-largest city of California during the second half of 2019.
