Bosch starts expansion of engineering center in Hungary; to be completed by 2021
Expanded center to have a proving ground for testing ultrasonic, radar, and camera-based driver assistance systems
Bosch has started expanding its engineering center in Budapest, Hungary, the German automotive supplier said in a press release last week. The 90,000 square feet expansion of the company’s ‘Engineering Center Budapest’ will be done in two phases. Bosch will invest EUR120 million (USD140 million) in the first phase, which is scheduled to be completed by 2021. Once completed, the expanded center will provide space for 1,800 employees.
