Valmet Automotive to manufacture next-generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class
Company making necessary changes in production lines, training personnel to begin production of new-generation compact car
Valmet Automotive will produce the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class compact car, the Finnish contract vehicle manufacturer and roof system supplier said in a press release early this week. The company is making necessary changes in the production lines at its Uusikaupunki plant in Finland to commence assembly of next-generation A-Class, which Daimler unveiled in the beginning of this month. The plant’s workers are also undergoing intensive training program.
