Daimler lays foundation for new battery plant in Germany
Plant expected to start operations in mid-2018
German automaker Daimler has laid foundation for its second plant for lithium-ion batteries at Kamenz, Germany, through its wholly owned subsidiary Accumotive, the company announced in a press release on 22 May.
