WABCO’s 2016 net income slips 19% y/y to USD223 million
Expects higher growth in sales and earnings this year
WABCO, a Belgium-based safety system supplier for commercial vehicle, has reported a 19% year-over-year (y/y) decline in net income to USD223 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2016, according to a press release. The company witnessed decline in net income despite 7% y/y growth in sales to USD2.8 billion. In local currencies, the company’s sales increased 8.7% y/y over 2015.
