Autonomous driving at SAE Levels 4 and 5 remains a major development objective for the automotive industry and the long-term impact will likely be profound. The technologies enabling these new functionalities demand significant investment from automakers, suppliers, technology companies, and mobility service providers; however, these technologies also enable a range of automated driving (SAE Levels 2 and 3) and advanced driver assistance (SAE Levels 0 and 1) which represent significant growth and revenue opportunities for automakers and suppliers today and in the near term.
