The 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019, took place at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) in Tokyo, Japan from 24th October to 4th November 2019. The event occurs every two years and is organized by  Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) in association with Japan Auto Parts Industries Association (JAPIA), Japan Auto-Body Industries Association, Inc. (JABIA), Japan Automotive Machinery and Tool Manufacturers Association (JAMTA), Japan Automobile Importers Association (JAIA), and is recognized by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles (OICA).The theme of Tokyo Motor Show 2019 was “Open Future” focusing on cutting edge futuristic technologies including future mobility, flying cars, next-generation personalized mobility, autonomous driving, connected vehicles, and new energy-based vehicles. Majority of the Japanese OEMs have showcased concept vehicles for urban mobility keeping in mind the upcoming Tokyo Olympics 2020.
