The European Commission has greenlit funding under the European Chips Act for Infineon Technologies AG's Smart Power Fab located in Dresden, Munich, with an official approval from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) anticipated in the coming months, according to a press release on Feb. 20.
