Europe’s largest carmaker Volkswagen (VW) has extended its joint venture agreement with SAIC Motor until 2040 in Greater China, securing the strategic partnership for a longer duration as it realigns its approach in the world’s largest electric vehicle market, VW announced Nov. 27.
