AUO, a Taiwan-based company specializing in advanced display human-machine interface (HMI) solutions for the mobility industry, will debut its next-generation Smart Cockpit 2025 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, scheduled to be held Jan. 7–10, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada, US. Under the theme Infinite Future, Unlimited Possibilities, AUO plans to showcase its innovative design for the future of smart mobility, featuring Micro LED Display HMI solutions.

Together with its subsidiary BHTC, acquired in April 2024, AUO will highlight industry-leading display HMI solutions, climate control units and HMI system solutions. AUO will also present its environmental sustainability efforts, including green solutions that aim to usher in a new era of environmental sustainability.

Frank Ko, CEO of AUO, expressed excitement about returning to CES with immersive and innovative solutions that align with the company's focus on technology advancements and sustainability. The acquisition of BHTC has enhanced AUO's product offerings by merging AUO's core display technology and Micro LED technology with BHTC's HMI capabilities. This integration has positioned AUO as the sole supplier in the market capable of offering comprehensive mobility solutions, including displays, operating systems, and integrated hardware and software for HMIs.

AUO's Smart Cockpit, which won a CES Best of Innovation Award at CES 2024, will feature pioneering technologies and innovative applications of display HMI solutions, aiming to create a visually immersive experience for vehicle occupants. AUO will also demonstrate its commitment to sustainability through green technologies, such as power-saving display innovations, the use of renewable energy and recyclable materials, and the implementation of AI for sustainable smart manufacturing.
