Swedish energy management software company Emulate Energy has signed a partnership with Smartcar, the leading API platform for mobility businesses, to enable the energy providers to use electric vehicle batteries as buffers to balance the load on grid, reduce peak demand and improve overall grid reliability, the company announced Nov. 14.
