During Phase One Project Lionheart, Vulcan plans to produce about 24,000 metric tons of sustainable lithium annually, which is enough to produce about 500,000 EVs

Australia-headquartered Vulcan Energy Resources has officially opened its downstream Central Lithium Electrolysis Optimization Plant (CLEOP) in a ceremony held on site at Industrial Park Höchst Frankfurt, Germany, the company announced Nov. 8.
