Biden-Harris administration invests $44.8 million in EV battery recycling
The funding, aimed at supporting sustainable EV growth and a domestic battery supply chain, aligns with the US' clean energy transition goals
The US government, as part of its Investing in America agenda, has announced a new funding initiative facilitated by the US Energy Department (DOE), providing $44.8 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) to support eight projects focused on reducing the costs associated with recycling electric vehicle batteries and their components.
