Ford to shut down Michigan factory as EV demand fades
Ford plans to begin a seven-week shutdown at its Dearborn plant in mid-November
Ford Motor Co. plans to shut down its Michigan factory that produces the F-150 Lightning plug-in pickup truck through the end of the year as demand for electric vehicles continues to fade, according to a news report published by Bloomberg on Oct. 31.
