The EV uptake in Plymouth has been slower than the UK average, with only 1.5% of 134,000 registered cars and vans as of mid-2024

The Council of Plymouth, which is a port city in the UK, has approved a new plan to support local residents who cannot charge their electric vehicles at home as they do not have access to off-street parking, the Plymouth government said in a press note on Oct. 23.
